After a long and rainy winter, spring has finally sprung in my neck of the woods. And nothing says spring like flowers, so I had to pick some up at the marché last weekend.
Dagny had a smile plastered all over her face this past weekend and I wasn’t far behind. This weekend was the nicest weekend I think I’ve ever experienced in France. Maybe all the nonstop rain is clouding my memory but really wow, it was gorgeous. The 60-65 F temps and sun was a welcome change and my phone has never EVER shown a forecast like this. Am I dreaming? Let’s hope this is a sign of a gorgeous spring ahead.
Ever visit a place and fall in love with it right off the bat? Maybe you can’t put your finger on why you like it so much or maybe it’s the food, landscape or the people that make a place special or the memories you have there, but whatever it is, you always find yourself wanting to go back. For me, that place is the Brittany region of France and luckily for us, it’s just a couple of hours away. For the Christmas week, we’re up near Lannion, France, just relaxing (like Dagny there in the pic above) and spending time with family. I hope everyone reading this had a wonderful Christmas.
