Les marques du moment

Written by Diane on. Posted in things we love

Did someone say online shopping/browsing? I’m in. 😉

A ton of bloggers do regular shopping roundups called “Things I’m loving lately” or something similar, and since I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting products, I figured I’d write one of my own. Here’s my “brands of the moment” list!

Les marques du moment

Planète Chocolat

planete chocolate bath products If you’re in need of a chocolate fix, the artisanal Belgian brand Planète Chocolate needs to be on your radar. Made from 100% pure cocoa butter and free of GMOs, Planète Chocolate’s wares are absolutely delicious. How do I know this? Because I had barely enough willpower to only order two chocolate bars. But for my readers who love a relaxing bath and want a calorie-free chocolate fix, Planète Chocolat has something for you as well. I picked up the chocolate bath set above that smells almost good enough to eat. Lotion, shower gel and more! If you need your chocolate delivered to France or elsewhere (including the US), they have a bunch of shipping options available!

Jackery

jackery fit charger for usb Don’t you hate it when your phone or tablet is nearly dead and there’s no sign of a power outlet in sight? To help keep my devices charged while I’m on the go, I bought a Jackery Fit Portable Battery Charger last year before our Alsace cruise and it’s become my favorite travel accessory. The company makes a variety of sizes depending on how many ports you need. Just plug in any device that charges with a USB cable like a phone or tablet and watch it charge right back up — no outlet needed! Major lifesaver!

Mes Petites Folies non-dairy ice cream

vegan nondairy ice cream france mes petites folies Summer is here and that means ice cream! When given the choice between a room temperature dessert like cake and something nice and cool like ice cream, I’m always going to pick the ice cream this time of year. But for those of us trying to limit our dairy intake due to health or ethical reasons, aside from sorbet, there aren’t a ton of options in France. Enter Mes Petites Folies, a beautifully packaged French non-dairy dessert brand that’s gluten free. Unfortunately I haven’t tasted it yet since their ice cream isn’t available out by me yet, but hopefully that will change soon. If you’ve tasted Mes Petites Folies (or another non-dairy ice cream), let me know about it in the comments!

Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel Seasoning

trader joe's everything bagel seasoning Oh wowwwwwwwww! I had heard about Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel Seasoning a few months ago but it wasn’t until last week when my mom sent me one in a care package that I realized what a delicacy this is. 😉 I love everything bagels, so it’s no surprise that I love this seasoning which contains sesame seeds, garlic, onion, and sea salt. In the 3 days I’ve had it, I’ve put it on a buttered baguette slice, ravioli, grilled chicken, vegetables and there’s no stopping me. I am guessing that my little container of it will be empty in about 4 days. Yes, it’s that good.

Aerie Play Sports Bra

twist back sports bra I’m always on the lookout for a good yet cute sports bra and bought the Aerie Play Sports Bra on a whim when it was on sale a few weeks ago hoping it would work out. Luckily, it did, and I’m so impressed with it! Perfect for low- to medium-impact workouts and insanely comfortable (no wires or annoying removable pads), it’s a bra I’ll be grabbing in a few more colors. I know Aerie is generally for the college set, but sometimes stores surprise you in the best way.

I do not go anywhere without a portable charger! My favourite object at the moment is a little Bluetooth speaker by Logitech. It’s about the size of my palm, but has great sound. I use it to listen to podcasts and music from my iPhone.

Awesome! I don’t have one of those but I think I need to get one. Sometimes the volume on your phone just isn’t loud enough and the phone’s speaker doesn’t do music any justice!

I’m going to try the TJ EverythIng spice. I’ve never seen it at TJ. I buy a lot of coffee from keurig.com, sheets from Target.com, and hand soap from bathandbodyworks.com. Nothing fancy, but I don’t like to shop in stores if I can help it!

Yes, shopping online is so much easier — can browse at your leisure without the crowds or parking hassles, and w/many sites offering free returns/shipping, it’s great! If you like everything bagels, you’ll love the seasoning!
