Pics of the Month: January — Brittany

Written by Diane on. Posted in on life in France, pics of the month

Welcome to January’s Pics of the Month post! As you might have read, I spent the first week of January in Brittany, France. And since I think it’s one of the most beautiful regions of France, here are three of my favorite pics from the trip!

Go see!

This is the port city of Concarneau, one of France’s most important fishing ports and located in the department of Finistere in northwest France. Two distinct parts make up this town — the walled medieval city on a little island in the harbor and the new modern area on the mainland. This pic was taken from inside the wall looking out. It was a gray day and we were one of the few tourists in sight.

This beautiful flower was taken with the Olloclip, a handy snap on lens for the iPhone which can do macro shots like this one, wide angle and fish eye effects as well. Gorgeous in every way!

And here’s my sweet Dagny at the beach. She didn’t mind getting covered in sand and wanted to chase her stick all afternoon. That’s happiness!

Which one is your favorite?

Oh I love the pic of your dog!!! She is adorable. We have a black and brown cocker spaniel that looks very similar! Thanks for the great pictures
